Birchbox Review February 2017

I've recently re-subbed to Birchbox UK, which is a monthly subscription beauty box for £10 a month (£2.95 p+p) and in this box you receive 5 luxury, well known skincare or hair care samples that personalised to your skincare / haircare needs, sometimes some of the products will be full size so it's definitely worth every penny.

Birchbox is so far my favourite beauty box, I have tried Glossy Box in the past, but I didn't seem to use their products as much as the products in this box,  I have really missed Birchbox so I re-subscribed back in January. It's also my monthly treat to myself, there is nothing better than coming home from work to a cute little box full of mini surprises aha, I love it!

I was really happy when I found out this was included in the box! In on my previous beauty boxes I got my first Spectrum brush, it's either the strong finish or flawless finish and I use it to contour with and it's a wonder to work with! It's soft and doesn't shed, definitely one of the best brushes I have ever used. And this eye contour brush has not let me down, highly recommend!

POP Beauty | Bright Up Your Life Eyeshadow Trio In Champagne Mocha

Sadly this trio didn't brighten up my life, the darkest shade was my favourite because I felt like that had more pigment than the other shade which for me applied more as a shimmer but as the description does say on the card 'neutral wash of colour' so I can't expect much off it.

Beaver Professional | Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray

This little guy is amazing! As a hairdresser, I love to find out about new hair products and all that jazz, and it can be difficult to find something that is 'right' for you, but this little guy has ticked all my boxes! It's not sticky and it doesn't smell *happy dance* it's heavenly! It does exactly what it says on the bottle, it detangles as well as conditions dry or damaged hair and with having colour on my hair and using heated products on my hair daily, it's a battle to keep it in good enough condition, so hopefully this will keep up it's good work and serve me well in the future.

Sebamed | Clear Face Care Gel

Okay, I was cautious to try this product out as my skin is very troublesome and sensitive to a few products but so far I am impressed, it is supposed to heal spots without drying out the skin and it contains hyaluronic acid which actively helps to moisturise dehydrated areas for soft, smooth skin. Now, I applied this once the night I got the box and it did what it says on the bottle, the spots along my jaw line visibly reduced so I'm happy so far, I'll give it another week as my skin can get 'used' to products but hopefully this will be my miracle worker aha. I will do a blog post on my skin in the future.

Keeome | Hydration Mask Therapy

I have been really excited to use this, it's a full size birchbox exclusive and it's Korean skincare so it's probably going to be very good.

 I tried it last night in the bath,  firstly I cleaned my face and then I let the warmth from the bath open my pores and then I applied this mask, now what I love about this is you don't have to apply it yourself so it doesn't get messy, it's just a mask with eye and mouth hole which are used a guide for when positioning on your face.

You can definitely tell a difference, my face is brighter, smoother, hydrated and my redness has reduced a lot which is amazing so I will be adding these to my beauty shopping list when I next get paid!
